Some time ago somebody asked me to make a tutorial about how to make the flowers from My mother’s flower garden
So I had to make one for being able to explain how to make them, and I think the result has been pretty Good!

First of all you should print the flower pattern and cut it.
The flower is formed by two pieces: A and B.
To make the piece A: choose two of the fabrics which combine well together. Put the paper pattern on the fabric’s back part and trace it with a pen. Turn over the pattern and do the same with the other fabric.
It is really important you turn over the pattern, since if not the flower parts will not coincide!
Cut the fabrics letting about half centimer to the trace.
Do the same with B pattern and the other two fabrics.

Put together the two A fabrics, having the back part of them out. Make the traces coincide and pin them as you can see on the picture.
Sew both fabrics using basting stitch following the pen traces.
Stop sewing 3 cm before finishing the flower.

Take off the pins and turn over the fabrics by using the hole you left on the seam.
Fill the flower with the stuff and close it using invisible stitches .
Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the piece B.

Once you have finished both pieces, put one over the other on the position you prefer.
Sew a button to join both pieces.
Sew the stick on the flower’s back. It will work for holding the flower.
That is all! I hope you have enjoyed it!!
If you make one, show me the picture and I will publish it!
What a cute idea! I can see these being put in vases and placed around the house. I'd never have to remember to water them!
This is cute! I think I can even make these:)
I didn’t understand the concluding part of your article, could you please explain it more?
