These days we are visiting my parents in law, in Burgos, Spain. When preparing our luggage I realized that our laptop did not have a case. So I decided to make an easy and fast one (with the not so much time I was having). Here I present the result:
{Material}
- 3 mm thick felt with the following measures: (a + 2 * c + 3 cm) x ( 2 * b + 2 * c + 8 cm)

Diagram 1
- Lining for the case with the same measures as the felt ( I used a cotton fabric).
- Two snap buttons and a plier for them
- Felt fleece and different colors yarn for decorating
- A felting needle
- A sewing machine
- Chalk
{Process}
First step:
Cut the felt and the linen on the right size.
Decor the felt on the front of the case. If you want you can also decor it on the back. To know how to position the decoration follow this diagram:
Diagram 2
Marc with chalk the dotted lines on the felt (later, just shaking it a bit it will disappear). Decor as the diagram, if it is on the front (on the diagram as (f) ) the decoration should go in one direction, if on the back (marked as (b) ) on the other.
This is the decoration I made with felt fleece and a felting needle:
Second Step:
Pin the linen with pins to the back of the felt. Sew all around.
Third Step:
To know how to position the snap buttons, put the laptop in and fold the felt as it will look when finished. Mark with chalk the desired position.
Apply the buttons with the plier. In case you don’t have a plier, you can always use a sewing snap button, but I am not sure how easy will be to sew it on the felt…
Fourth step:
To finish with the case you must sew the lateral part. To know where to sew, join the bottom of the case with the line that separates the (b) area and the (s) area on diagram 2. Then sew both laterals.
That’s it! You have a beautiful, easy and fast-to-make laptop case! Hope you enjoyed it!!

Dear @Brie,
Yes, it is simple and easy! The only tricky point is to sew the laterals of the case, since it is double thick.
Ah, and thanks a lot for following! I hope you will find plenty of interesting things here!
